Elle Magazine Article

I don't read Elle but I was on another website where a specific article was being discussed and I have to say I'm appalled. I am prolife; I believe that life begins at conception. At one point in my life, I was prochoice. I'm not sure when I made the switch although I think it may have been when I got pregnant with Jason. I can't understand how anyone who has been pregnant can be okay with murder. Anyway....this article talks about a woman who had a child through IVF and wanted a second child. She ended up getting pregnant with twins. Sounds great, right? Wrong, she only wanted one child so she aborted one of the twins. Since she had a son already and the twins were a boy and a girl, she selectively reduced the boy (doesn't that sound much nicer than murdered even though that's what it was?). One of the comments online from a prochoicer was that the average American cannot get their head around the fact that something can be wrong but the person still has the right to do it. Wrong....I think smoking is wrong but I accept that people have the right to smoke (although my lungs and I are quite happy with all the nonsmoking areas that have popped up recently). I just can't see the murder of an unborn child the same way.

This makes me sick. I'm prolife too, and I cant tell you how many stories, similar to this one, I've heard. It angers me and disgusts me.

A person is a person. Murder is murder. There are no two ways around those things.
